Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using ManiPad. By accessing any URL, writing content, or utilizing any feature of this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all provisions, you must immediately cease use of the Service.

Zero-Tolerance Prohibited Use NoticeManiPad prohibits illegal content, malware distribution, phishing, credential theft, copyright infringement, and automated abuse. Violations result in immediate content removal, IP bans, and escalation to competent authorities where required.

1. Nature of the Service

ManiPad is a lightweight, real-time, unauthenticated collaborative text notepad. It allows users to create and edit notes on custom URL paths without registering an account.

The Service is provided for temporary note-taking, draft writing, and quick text sharing. It is not an archival storage service, backup repository, or encrypted vault.

2. User Conduct & Prohibited Content

You represent and warrant that you will not submit, publish, transmit, or link to any content that:

Violates Any Law: Is unlawful, tortious, defamatory, libelous, harassing, invasive of another's privacy, or constitutes hate speech or incitement to violence.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Depicts or promotes sexual abuse or exploitation of minors. Any detected CSAM will be purged and reported immediately to law enforcement authorities without exception.
Malware & Cyberattacks: Distributes viruses, ransomware, trojans, malicious scripts, keyloggers, botnets, exploit payloads, or malicious download links.
Phishing & Fraud: Impersonates organizations or individuals to deceptively harvest passwords, credit cards, credentials, cryptocurrency keys, or personally identifying data.
Intellectual Property Infringement: Infringes any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or proprietary right of any third party.
Stolen Data & Doxxing: Exposes stolen databases, breached passwords, social security numbers, private medical records, or non-consensual personal contact details.
Automated Scraping & Flooding: Conducts denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, automated bot spamming, script-based load tests, or excessive polling that threatens system integrity.

3. User-Generated Content & Safe Harbor

ManiPad functions solely as an automated passive technological intermediary. We do not pre-screen, monitor, or endorse content created or modified by users.

You are solely responsible for all content written, pasted, or transmitted through your session. We reserve the absolute right, but do not assume the obligation, to delete, wipe, or restrict access to any note at our sole discretion, without warning, explanation, or liability.

4. Password Protection & Data Loss

Optional password protection allows you to restrict note access to authorized sessions. However:

You are solely responsible for remembering your password. Forgotten passwords cannot be recovered or reset by administrators.
Notes with self-destruct timers are permanently destroyed when the timer elapses.
We cannot guarantee that unauthenticated public URLs will not be discovered, visited, or edited by other parties.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, UPTIME, AVAILABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, BUG-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT STORED THEREIN WILL REMAIN INTACT OR RECOVERABLE. YOU USE THIS SERVICE AT YOUR ENTIRE SOLE RISK.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MANIPAD, ITS CREATORS, OPERATORS, HOSTS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE, OR THIRD-PARTY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS) ARISING FROM OR CONNECTED WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ManiPad, its creators, maintainers, and operational partners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) resulting from or arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you transmitted on any note.

8. Copyright & DMCA Takedown Procedure

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted work is accessible on ManiPad in a manner constituting copyright infringement, please submit a takedown request specifying: (a) the exact note URL, (b) proof of copyright ownership, and (c) your legal contact details. Valid requests will be processed promptly.

9. Modifications & Severability

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without individual notice. The updated version will be posted directly to this URL.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
